Shipping
is always a major concern to our outside clients. Delivery time,
reliability & cost
have major impacts on whether or not you send us film to run. Even though we are at the will of the shipper, everything is done to assure
the shipping phase goes smoothly. WORD OF WARNING: This is a frustration point for us as shipping lab. We have done everything, and made many sacrifices in our operation to keep costs down so we are able to keep our price increases to a minimum. We have done these things for YOU, our clients. If you scrimp on "untracked shipping" and your package is late or lost, PLEASE do not get angry at us for this condition. Once an untracked package leaves our lab at your request, it is between you and the shipper. Please use UPS ground for cost saving 'tracked shipping'.
RETURN REQUEST "untracked" SHIPPING: Folks, be aware that once a postal, fedex or UPS package has left our lab 'it is out of our hands'. USPS: If you requested regular priority post there will be no possible way to track this package. To save a few dollars you are giving up piece of mind in locating your film if it should go missing. We can not be responsible for such an occurrence. There is nothing we can do about the cost of shipping. If you for-go any tracked shipping please DONOT get upset with us if the package is late or lost. We will not place refunds in this circumstance.
AIR TRAVEL: Take note that due to the ever increasing threat to film by X-ray, we highly suggest you send film to us or yourself from your travel spot. It isn't recommended you get back on the airplane with your exposed or unexposed film unless you are completely certain you can have your film hand checked. REGARDLESS of what the airports my tell you, X-ray is X-ray, it WILL damage film, even slow films. Every walk-through x-ray machine is different and each will damage film differently, slight to bad. You may not notice a 1st pass or even a 2nd and maybe only if you had an "unpassed roll" processed side-by-side. If you have to pass film through the X-ray it is best to buy a double or triple
[2 bags] "double" lead film bag. They will let this pass or be forced to hand check your film.
To date we have not experienced damage by x-ray from shipping, either by local or international, POST, FEDEX, UPS or DHL. If you have trepidations about this fact feel free to write "FILM - DO NOT X-RAY" "UNPROCESSED FILM - HAND CHECK ONLY " on your package.
Since most of our volume is from you the client sending in film, we have decided to thank you by making the ever rising costs of shipping easier on you. For orders over 20 rolls we will ship your order back FREE [USPS-PRORITY or UPS-ground - US bound orders only]. This is the least we can do to thank you for using our service. [If the client requires express-shipping, a ground-cost discount will be applied to the invoice.]
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: 20+ ROLLS receives 50% off PRIORITY-SHIP or 25% - on EXPRESS global shipping FEDEX / UPS. INTERNATIOAL orders with 40+ rolls will have free ship return.
NOTE: If you have over 40 rolls to send we will pay for shipping in both directions, CALL.
When
shipping film to us please make sure your packaging is secure. Shipping
boxes of any size are preferred. If you send your film in an envelope,
regardless of the type, you take the risk of the film being damaged or
lost by the shipping equipment tearing open or crushing the contents.
When
we ship film back it is packed in professional manner. Roll film is sleeved
and sent UN-CUT. If you request your 35mm to be mounted, it is put in
film boxes. We would rather ship unmounted/uncut rolls secured to a hard core, it is the safest way to protect film being shipped.

NOTE: We do not list all of our ship costs. The reason for this is we only charge what it costs us. WE DONT MAKE MONEY OFF OF SHIPPING. INTERNATIONAL CLIENTS: If you require your 120 film to be 'un-cut' shipping cost must be for boxed shipping. In most cases medium format uncut rolls my require the more expensive boxed ship option.
Please note Ship costs are an unfortunate fact of our service. Please take these added costs into consideration when sending us orders. If ship cost is bothersome to you, then we'd rather you not send us film.
