What is Galleryphotographic.org?
Galleryphotographic.org is an idea we have been thinking about since we relocated to Denver. In the same custom as dr5 CHROME Galleryphotographic's concept is simple: To promote and assist the traditional film community by providing a space to present works, and the means to promote true photographic procedures and processes. While we applaud the efforts of digital imaging, we champion the art of film photography. Therefore, all Galleryphotographic showings will include at least 51% traditional photographic elements.
Our desire is to embrace Photographers by providing an affordable space at only the cost of staging a showing. The use of our gallery space is free to the artist.
The space is located within the Art District on Santa Fe in Denver and plans to be a vital part of the First Fridays Art Walk. http://www.artdistrictonsantafe.com/calendar.php
Each presenting Photographer will be responsible for fees acquired by Galleryphotographic regarding installation, promotions, mailings, catering, etc. pertaining to their particular event.
Unlike most galleries Galleryphotographic prefers the Photographer receive the majority of any sale price. We will receive only a small percentage of any sales and willingly accept tax-deductible donations.
