Use this procedure for this IR film, using filtration;
100iso is the normal dr5 iso for this film "without" filtration. The procedure might change for exposing this film as we retest it once again. Use the 100iso base. Use filter compensation factor for what ever filter you are using. This will vary depending on the filter used. DMAX for this film is very good at around 3.50+
EFKE-IR 820c, unlike Kodak HS-IR, produces a beautiful brown tone in developer 2-sepia.
The advantages to the efke-IR film is the larger sizes and much finer grain. This film is also less sensitive to IR loading procedures. We still recommend you load this film in a very shadowed space, total darkness is unnecessary because of it's anti-halation backing. An exposed roll of 120 or 127 must be protected after exposure.
